Step 7 of the 8 step transformational process

Step Seven: Be All In

Are you willing to do whatever it takes to see your vision come to pass? If you have applied the other six steps in the transformational process, your vision is already in the queue waiting to manifest. This step is designed to keep you on the right path for all of the needed circumstances to fall into place at the right time. It is also designed to make sure that you are willing to do whatever is necessary in order for your life to unfold as you desire. Precision and timing are keys to your success. You must be hungry. You must be able to taste your victory. You must have a desire strong enough to get through any hurdle or obstacle that tries to block you.

I sat spellbound in front of the television as she jumped, leapt, and twirled during her floor rotation. Her unique blend of power, flexibility, body alignment, and form had landed her a spot on the 2012 U.S. Women’s Gymnastics team.

Gabrielle Douglas, also fondly known as the Flying Squirrel, is a US Women's Artistic gymnast. At the 2012 London Summer Olympics, she was the first American gymnast to win gold medals in both the team and individual all-around competitions. Gabrielle was the first woman of color of any nationality and the first African-American gymnast in Olympic history to become the Individual All-Around Champion.

We were all intrigued by this young woman who had made sacrifice after sacrifice. Leaving home at age fourteen would be difficult for any child, but this is exactly what Gabby did. When Gabby reached her peak at her local gym, she knew that she needed a new coach who could take her to the Olympic level. She desired to train under elite coach Liang Chow in West Des Moines. After convincing her mother to allow her to move across the country in pursuit of her Olympic dream, and overcoming a number of obstacles placed before her, Gabrielle left Virginia Beach and her family behind to train with Liang Chow.

There is a vetting process that occurs in each of our lives which helps to determine how bad we want something. Whether it is a relationship, a career, or material possessions, our attitude must be such that we will comply with whatever instructions or direction we are receiving as long as it is not illegal, immoral, and hurtful or would compromise our integrity. Listening to and obeying Infinite Intelligence are key in this step.

My husband, Michael, was desperately looking for a job. He had diligently searched the Internet and sent his résumé to company after company. He followed up on every reputable lead that he received only to experience rejection after rejection. He was either overqualified or did not have the required experience. In one experience he had gone through three interviews and was told that he was hired for the job. Days later he was called and told that the company decided that they were going with someone else.

Through a series of events, Michael ended up connecting with a woman who was instrumental in getting him hired for a Fortune 500 company in the food industry, McDonald’s. Even though he was hired into the accelerated management program, he still had to work in the restaurant to gain knowledge and information vital to his success in management. He worked hard. He worked every shift and many twelve-to-fourteen-hour days. He knew that he could not advance without following the correct protocol. He knew that he could not sidestep the menial tasks. So he flipped burgers, cooked fries, and took out the trash. He knew, however, that these duties were temporary. He could taste success. He saw himself advancing. He was 100 percent committed to the process. He was all in.

Have you ever heard the phrase, “the fortune is in the follow-up”? It is used regularly in network marketing or sales. I also believe that the fortune is in the follow-through. In this step of the transformation process you must follow through. Making a list of things to do will ensure that you remember everything that you are required to do. Making a list helps you to complete every assignment related to manifesting the life of your dreams. Making a list will also help you ignore the energy-draining distractions that are vying for your attention. It will keep you focused on making the changes necessary to see your life manifest into what you want it to.

Take up one idea. Make that one idea your life - think of it, dream of it, and live on that idea. Let your brain, muscles, nerves, and every other part of your body be full of that idea, and just leave every other idea alone. This is the way to success, that is way great spiritual giants are produced,” says Swami Vivekananda.
